The New York Times' Mike Nizza ran an article about the photoshopped Iranian Missile photo which ran in various newspapers this week.

Some people speculate that the image was cloned and photoshopped from this (below) image:

The reason for the deception becomes painfully if not laughably clear when one sees the original, un-retouched photo (below) of the same scene.
