Ladybird Named after Lyndon Johnson's wife and Hank Hill's hound.
   She showed up at the back door as a pup one day.  Took over socializing Goddy and nagged him into submission as only a bitch can do.

Checkers & Stella
Stella jumped out of a tree one pre-dawn and Mrs. JD caught her.  She thought Stella was one of our cats, but TOO LATE!  Stella was in the house by then and part of the family, and Checkers  Big fluff ball with a wild streak. LOVES to fight.  He had double fangs on both sides when he was a kitten.

 Big gentle cat, but once latched onto a pit bull who woke him up from a nap.  Had to pull him off the dog and lock the dog in my truck to keep Frank from coming back with more whup-ass.

Checkers & Lady Bird dream.

Goody (short for Thurgood). Understands commerce.  He will trade a sock or a piece of paper for a dog treat,  Nice dog; terror as a puppy.

Nadine: Princess of the Underworld, Keeper of the Lotion, Paperweight.
3.5 pounds of untamed, Hell-spawned fury. Agoraphobic. Nadine has lived in one room for 10 years, ever since Checkers tried to kick her ass.

Penny  Pit/Shepard mix.  LOVES teh kittehs and likes to clean them.  Cats line up for her attention.
